W&S Motorsport to compete in the 2024 GT4 European Series with Max Kronberg and Finn Zulauf

W&S Motorsport will line up with a new driver duo in the GT4 European Series in the 2024 season. Max Kronberg and Finn Zulauf will share the cockpit of the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport #30 and fight for success in the Pro-Am class of the GT4 racing series.

Kronberg already took part in the GT4 European Series in 2022 and 2023 and finished third in the Pro-Am drivers' standings last year. His highlight of the season was his first overall victory, third place overall and two victories in the Pro-Am at his home race in Hockenheim. He showed impressive development and established himself as one of the best drivers among the amateurs.

It will be Zulauf's first season in the European GT4 series. The 19-year-old has been racing for W&S Motorsport since 2021 and has celebrated several successes with Patrick Wagner and Daniel Schellhaas' team in the past. His overall victories in the ADAC GT4 Germany at Hockenheim in 2022 and at the Lausitzring in 2023 were particularly celebrated. He proved that he is one of the fastest Junior drivers with several class wins and two third places overall in the Junior classification as well as winning the team championship with AVIA W&S Motorsport in 2023. With the step into the GT4 European Series, Zulauf also wants to gain experience at international level and establish himself as a professional racing driver.

The newly formed driver duo Kronberg/Zulauf will face the competition for the first time at the season opener of the GT4 European Series at the French Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet from 5 to 7 April 2024.

W&S Motorsport plans to enter at least two Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport cars in the 2024 season and still has cockpits available. If drivers are interested, they can contact the team for a personalised offer.

Daniel Schellhaas, Team Principal W&S Motorsport: "With Max and Finn, we have a strong and promising driver pairing in the GT4 European Series. Both have developed very well in recent years and have made a name for themselves as winning drivers in various racing series. I am very proud to have them in the team and I am sure that we have the right package to have a say in the championship."

Max Kronberg, Driver W&S Motorsport: "I am very happy to continue racing with W&S Motorsport in the GT4 European Series. It will be my third season in the series and the first with a new team-mate. Finn is a very fast, young driver and hungry for success. I think that we will work well together and I am looking forward to the season with him."

Finn Zulauf, Driver W&S Motorsport: "I am really looking forward to competing in the GT4 European Series for the first time this year and also to working with Max. We have known each other since 2021 and in my opinion, he is one of the best bronze drivers. I think we have a good chance of achieving good results. I can't wait for the season to start at Paul Ricard and thank everyone involved for this great opportunity to take another step towards becoming a professional racing driver!"
